I recently popped in here to get a gift certificate for a birthday gift knowing that the food is great. I thought what the heck and stayed for lunch. I have been to other locations for this local restaurant chain and hadn’t really been impressed. Maybe I had ordered wrong or it is this new location that has got it going on. I have eaten here now many times and have not been disappointed at all. Most of the time it has been for dinner and I have always had a great meal and so has anyone I have eaten with. Upon entering the restaurant it feels very small but after you descend a large staircase it completely opens up. They have a nice ambiance with an upscale modern feel. Located in the middle of the restaurant is a glass enclosed private dining room which would be great for a smaller party. They have a bar area to the right and many large booths and tables to the left in the dining room. I ate in the bar area for lunch and was seated at a lovely window overlooking a man made lake. I enquired what the soup of the day was and it was a Grilled Artichoke and Mushroom soup. WOW, an exquisite soup that I would love to try to replicate. Next I had the Crunchy Ahi Tuna salad. Perfectly seared ahi tuna with the fresh crunch of the vegetables and crispy noodles all tossed in a miso soy dressing, it was right up my alley!! I loved my lunch with a big glass of ice water with lemon. The service was perfect and all in all a great idea to stop for lunch.
