Earls

We have now been to Earls twice in the last little while. The Earls Westhills location. I think they are all very similar with their offerings and provide a good meal with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We sat out on their patio both times enjoying the lovely summer weather we have been graced with. They offer a comfortable yet upscale atmosphere that you can easily relax in.

We almost did the same meal again on our second visit as their tuna poke nachos are insanely good. They are crisp wontons smothered with tuna, cucumber, avocado, tomato, spicy mango coulis, sliced Serranos, and crushed macadamia nuts. The nuts add so much more to the dish than you would expect. A lovely combination. I also had to repeat the “to die for” cocktail. It was a Pineapple and Ginger Margarita. Perfectly balanced with chunks of fresh pineapple, excellent!!

The first time we went Ken had the hot chicken wings or should I say tried to as Amber stole most of them, so that is what she ordered the second time we went out. Deliciously crisp and spicy!! I had the fish tacos, big chunks of lime and coriander marinated wahoo slid into flour tortillas topped with mango and avocado salsa and a spicy Valentina crema. Yum!! On our second outing, Ken knew he had to relinquish the wings to Amber so he went straight to the burger and what a mother of a burger that was!! Not a crumb left!!

All in all, we had a great time at Earls and would return again and again especially for those tuna poke nachos. I want some right now!! Check out their website at www.earls.ca Enjoy!!
