Frozen Mango Margarita #NationalMargaritaDay
This is a fabulous event that Heather Dar Schmitt-Gonzalez from GirliChef has put together for us to celebrate this fun day, National Margarita Day so I created this Frozen Mango Margarita!! There is something to celebrate every day of the year.
Well, we can’t do that, but pick a day full of hoopla and merriment, it is today, National Margarita Day. One of my favorite cocktails is a margarita, but you don’t have to stick with the traditional one, oh no, live it up.
I love a salted rim with the sweet and sour taste of a margarita and the tequila, oh the tequila, what great alcohol this is. The thought of it just transcends into party time!!
I know these are martini glasses but they really do work for a frozen margarita too. Just the right size!!
I decided to go for a thick and decadent Frozen Mango Margarita, one of my favorite flavors. Plus the color is so fun too!! I froze the mango so less ice is used. Who wants a watered-down drink, now really??!!!

“Some of my best and worst nights have included this libation but we won’t go there!!” <– let's hear more about these nights, Tara! Lol. Ahhhh tequila. Your mango margaritas look sooooooo good. I love mango so I agree on not watering it down with too much ice. And your margarita glasses are very cool. I just woke up (it's 7:40 here in Vancouver) but I want a pitcher of this right now! Happy Margarita Day, Tara!

These look SO creamy — no calories I bet

I bet it is way lower thank some other cocktails, at least you have the fresh mango in there, that nullifies all the calories, right?
Julie @ Texan New Yorker says
Okay, where did you find those martini glasses??? They are GORGEOUS!! And of course, so is the margarita. 🙂 I love that you add a little rum in there too – a nice twist up. I’ll have to try that sometime!
Noshing with the Nolands says
Thanks Julie, my girlfriend got me those glasses awhile ago, I love them too. Yes loved the rum instead of the usual triple sec.
Lori @ Foxes Love Lemons says
Those might be martini glasses, but they are SO cute! I just love them! And I love the drink in them, too. I don’t think I’d ever had a bite of mango until a few years ago, and I’ve been making up for lost time with it ever since 🙂
Noshing with the Nolands says
We always seem to have a mango around as my daughter loves them. I like mine frozen in a cocktail 😉 Thanks so much for coming over!!
