Here we are with the last long weekend of the summer! It has been a good summer weather wise, hot and dry! Starting to feel the nip in the air now especially in the morning!! I love fall at it is my favorite time of the year. From now until the end of the year it is fun, fun, fun! My picks this time are more geared towards the end of the summer but not yet fall foods. We have two really good but heartier salads. An amazing sangria as our drink pick this week. Something that I have always wanted to try and that is fried pickles. Crazy I say!! Then a cute little crispy cracker that could be cut into many shapes to fit the season. And for dessert is a beautiful lavender shortbread cookie that just looks simply stunning. Enjoy!!
