Monday again!! I leave for Toronto tomorrow to start off my exciting week. Not only am I doing filming with Mott’s Clamato for celebrating the upcoming holiday season but I am also being hosted (along with my girlfriends) at Earls for dinner and Steam Whistle for a tour of their facility downtown Toronto. I can’t wait. Upon my return I will be in full swing for our annual Halloween Howler, where at times we have upward of 100 people. My friends and neighbors have all helped me out this year to pull this off. It is almost entirely homemade with the exception of a Cheesie and some scary candy. A bash we work on all year long. So needless to say we are full on busy!!
I have also decided to just do Mouth Watering Mondays and not a post every Monday to allocate some more time in getting my cookbook underway. This will allow me every Monday to focus on that . I may expand Mouth Watering Monday to include pictures also, it would be a nice touch I know.
Now to the topic at hand, Mouth Watering Mondays. I think I might have been hungry this week as things are extra ooey gooey cheesy, sweet and rich. Full flavors are bounding out of these recipes such as Copycat Bubba Gump Shrimp and a Cheesy Bread that is on Crack. A Sweet Potato recipe that I first had at Ruth’s Chris and then our friends the Rollinson’s brought for Thanksgiving, that is pondered a question is this a side dish or dessert? Next is a crostini with a wonderful pairing of cheese, truffle honey and smoked salt, can’t wait to try that one!! And to finish it all off are two desserts, one brimming with apples and maple flavor that is so perfect for fall and the other stacked tall with chocolate and pumpkin cake and the most divine looking buttercream you have ever seen!!
