Pork Souvlaki
Pork got voted in for our 5 Days of ……. You know the saying put “Pork on your Fork”, well we did. It won’t be the usual where we run 5 days in a row of pork recipes but I will be sharing them over the next few weeks or so. Here is day one, Pork Souvlaki!! I have heard not to cook your meat and vegetables on the same skewer as they cook at different rates and one or the other will be overdone.
Juicy, tender pork souvlaki done in a wonderfully flavorful marinade, add more grilled skewers of veggies to this or a salad, or tzatziki and Greek potatoes for a real feast.
Have you tried using garlic paste before? It works so well for marinades like this, I think way better than chopped. The garlic really permeates the meat, giving it outstanding flavor!!
