Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival

Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival is coming back to Calgary again on October 12 & 13, 2018 and I have two free tickets to give away!! This annual event at the Stampede Park BMO Center has a plethora of amazing sips and bites. 

This tasty event is sponsored by Sobeys and Safeway liquor. Showcasing food from around the world served up by 40 local restaurants makes this event one of the most popular for the last two decades!!

Serving up are more than 350 wines from 20 different countries, and 291 beers and spirits gives you lots and lots to choose from!

Besides local chefs, master blenders, winemakers, brew masters, and key principals to educate and inspire you there will be talents included also. This year includes Wild Life Distillery founders, Keith Robinson and Matt Widmer. Plus actress, popstar and Viva Diva Wines Company founder, Christina Milian and Thomas Heinze Collections’ sommelier, TJ Harstine.

Italian VIP Wine Getaway

Everyone that attends will be entered to win an Italian VIP wine getaway for two from Giusti Wine, valued at $7500!! This once in a lifetime trip includes return airfare, four nights and five days of accommodation.

Also included is a Giusti Vineyard tour and cellar tasting with Giusti Wine founder, Joe Giusti. All ticket purchasers are automatically entered to win if they purchase tickets by September 30th.

Food served at Rocky Mountain Wine and Food Festival

From sweet treats by Cōchu Chocolatier and Sweet Tooth Ice Cream to Mini Lobster Rolls from Red Plate there is going to be an amazing line up of delicacies.

Dishes like Butternut Squash Ravioli from Cactus Club Café, Raw Oysters from Rodney’s Oyster House, Pumpkin Pie with Maple Bourbon Cream from Starbelly Open Kitchen + Lounge to name a few more.

Pizza from PZA Parlour or Beef Tenderloin from Saltlik. New to the event, Midtown Kitchen & Bar who will be serving up Pork Belly Sliders and Steak Tartare. Two Penny Restaurant and Bar will be plating Scallion Pancake Rolls with Braised Beef. There’s something for everyone during the event.

There will also be onsite liquor stores provided by Sobeys and Safeway so you can bring home your favorites.

Supporting Albertans in Need

RMWFF has donated $16,000 in 2017 and more than $200,000 since 1998 thanks to help from Festival guests and sponsors. This year, RMWFF aims to donate even more to fantastic organizations like Mealshare, Calgary and Edmonton Food Banks, SAIT Culinary Campus and NAIT Culinary Arts program.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door (based on availability). Also if you would like to win free tickets enter our giveaway!!

The tickets are good for two for the Friday night October 12th session in Calgary, AB event only. Tickets will be available at the Will Call booth on the day of the event. A random winner will be drawn on October 10th. Good luck everyone!
