Well, here I go onto a new adventure. I am embracing turning 50 next week and would love to share with you some cooking, crafts and seasonal ideas that I have learned over the last 5 decades. I love cooking, I love searching for new recipes or coming up with new ideas or just making some good old comfort food that I have enjoyed my whole life. My husband and daughter also have a passion for cooking and they will at times be posting their ideas on here as well. Every Friday my daughter and her friends come together for what we call Friday Night Cooking Class (FNCC). This has had a big following on Facebook with many people anxiously awaiting the upcoming cooking class for the approaching Friday. I will share with you those photos too.
Crafting gives me a whole other joy, a lifelong passion for knitting, crocheting and making multitudes of other treasures. The holidays are big in our household too. Each season is enveloped with the smells of baking and cooking and the gathering of family and friends. I am excited to share with you all of mine and my families passions.
With Valentine’s Day soon approaching I thought I would delve into that wonderful holiday and give you some ideas to brighten up your family or sweethearts day.

This is so you Tara. You’ll be putting Martha out of business!! Everything looks great (and very professional too). Love the pics. I know it’s really your photos, I’d recognize that granite anywhere. Looking forward to your blogs and FNCC (without having to go on Facebook).
Love Jan
