Wild Hibiscus Margarita
This Wild Hibiscus Margarita is a fabulous cocktail. Completely out of the ordinary!! I received a jar of these gorgeous hibiscus flowers from Miriam. Thank you so much. At first, I didn’t know what to make with them but I found a pamphlet at the liquor store and decided to whip up with a margarita with them.
I love to change up cocktails based on the season. This little creation is perfect for those long summer afternoons or evenings!
It turned out unbelievably good. So look for them in your local specialty stores or liquor stores. They are out there and then you can be sipping this lovely cocktail on your front porch this summer too!!
Recipe
2 oz. good Tequila
1 oz. lime juice
1/2 oz. Hibiscus syrup (from the jar)
4 mint leaves
1 oz. Chambord
Hibiscus flower, cocktail cherry and a mint leaf for garnish
Take the mint leaves and muddle them in a margarita glass, wipe them around the interior of the glass and then discard any large pieces. Mix the tequila, lime juice, hibiscus syrup and Chambord in a cocktail shaker with ice. Add fresh ice to the margarita glass and pour in the cocktail. Wow, it is awesome!!!
