This Pumpkin Spice Cocktail screams fall with all of its wonderful ingredients like apple cider, pumpkin syrup, ginger beer, bourbon or whisky, and more. Perfect for Thanksgiving or the holidays!

Ingredients
 

Pumpkin Syrup:

  • ½ Cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 Tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • ¾ Cup Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water

Cocktail:

  • 1 ½ Ounces Whiskey or Bourbon
  • 2 Ounces Pumpkin syrup
  • 2 Ounces Apple Cider or apple juice
  • 3-4 Dashes Bitters
  • Top off with ginger beer

Garnish:

  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • Cinnamon stick

Instructions
 

  • To make the syrup, add all syrup ingredients into a saucepan on medium heat. Stir occasionally until sugar has dissolved and all ingredients are combined. Strain through a mesh strainer and set aside.
  • In a flat dish, add sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Prep your glass by dipping in some apple cider and then in the sugar-spice mixture.
  • In your cocktail shaker, add your ingredients except ginger beer. Shake with ice and pour into your glass. Top with ginger beer and desired garnishes.
