This amazing Slow Cooker Creamed Corn is not only easy to make, but can quickly go from a side dish to the main dish. Can butter and cream cheese ever disappoint?
Pour milk, cream, and sugar over corn and stir together.
Top with cubed butter and cubed cream cheese.
Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Stir well until the butter and cream cheese are combined. Cook uncovered on high an additional 15 minutes (or until it's thickened to your liking). Salt if you want to.
Creamed corn will thicken as it sits. If you plan to keep it in the slow cooker longer (for serving), you may want to add a little milk.Recipe adapted from The Slow Roasted Italian.
