Ingredients

  • 3 bags frozen whole kernel corn 12 oz each
  • 8 oz. cream cheese cut into cubes
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup salted butter 1 stick, cut into cubes
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Salt and Pepper optional

Instructions

  • Place corn at bottom of 3 to 4 quart slow cooker.
  • Pour milk, cream, and sugar over corn and stir together.
  • Top with cubed butter and cubed cream cheese.
  • Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Stir well until the butter and cream cheese are combined. Cook uncovered on high an additional 15 minutes (or until it's thickened to your liking). Salt if you want to.
  • Add pepper to taste or for garnish (optional).
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

Creamed corn will thicken as it sits. If you plan to keep it in the slow cooker longer (for serving), you may want to add a little milk.
