Slow Cooker Creamed Corn
This amazing Slow Cooker Creamed Corn is not only easy to make, but can quickly go from a side dish to the main dish. Can butter and cream cheese ever disappoint?

- 3 bags frozen whole kernel corn 12 oz each
- 8 oz. cream cheese cut into cubes
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup salted butter 1 stick, cut into cubes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and Pepper optional
Place corn at bottom of 3 to 4 quart slow cooker.
Pour milk, cream, and sugar over corn and stir together.
Top with cubed butter and cubed cream cheese.
Cover and cook on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Stir well until the butter and cream cheese are combined. Cook uncovered on high an additional 15 minutes (or until it's thickened to your liking). Salt if you want to.
Add pepper to taste or for garnish (optional).
Serve and enjoy.
Creamed corn will thicken as it sits. If you plan to keep it in the slow cooker longer (for serving), you may want to add a little milk.
