These easy Slow Cooker Chicken Cheese Tacos take few ingredients and very little effort to make a tasty and satisfying meal the family will love.

Ingredients
 

  • 3 chicken breasts
  • 16 oz. salsa
  • 6 oz. light cream cheese
  • Tacos
  • 8-10 small flour tortillas
  • Sliced avocado
  • Sliced iceberg lettuce
  • Chopped tomatoes

Instructions
 

  • In a slow cooker place the chicken breast in and top with salsa. Heat for 7-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.
  • Shred chicken and then add the cream cheese, let cook on high for 15 min. until softened.
  • Stir into the chicken and salsa. Serve in tacos with lettuce, tomato, and avocado or other toppings you desire.
