Garlic Butter Board

This gorgeous Garlic Butter Board is a must-try recipe for your next gathering if it is small or large. The gorgeous sweet roasted garlic is perfect with the butter and herbs and makes this butter board memorable and delicious.

1 cup butter softened 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tsp kosher salt 2 heads garlic roasted 1 tsp flaky sea salt 2 tsp each fresh basil rosemary, and thyme 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
TO ROAST THE GARLIC: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice the top 1/3 off of each head of garlic.
Drizzle each head with ½ tbsp of olive oil. Top with Kosher salt.
Bake in a garlic roaster or wrapped in foil for 35-45 min. or until soft.
Allow the garlic to cool for 20 – 30 minutes.
TO CREATE THE BUTTER BOARD: Squeeze the garlic from one of the heads in a medium bowl.
Add the softened butter and mix until well combined.
Spread the butter on a good wooden board or platter.
Chop or tear the fresh herbs and sprinkle them over the butter and place the second head of roasted garlic on the board or platter.
Sprinkle the red pepper flakes and the flaky sea salt over the butter.
Cut up a French loaf or French stick.
Serve with a couple of small butter knives to allow your guests to help themselves to the bread, butter, and garlic.
