Baked Chicken Flautas

This easy appetizer or main dish is loved in our family! Baked Chicken Flautas, or as you may call them Rolled Tacos, is simple Mexican food that can be a whole meal or an appetizer that anyone can make.

Ingredients

  • 4 skinless chicken breast cooked and shredded
  • 1-8 oz. jar of salsa thicker is better than a runnier salsa
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 oz. cheddar cheese
  • 36 - 6 " flour tortillas
  • Cooking spray
  • Condiments like salsa sour cream and guacamole

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  • In a medium bowl mix together the shredded chicken and salsa. Set aside.
  • Grate cheese and mix together, set aside.
  • Put a heaping tablespoon of the cooked chicken breast mixture in the center of each tortilla. Top with both kinds of cheese and roll up and place seam side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Repeat with all the tortillas until chicken and cheese are gone.
  • Spray the flautas with cooking spray.
  • Bake in an oven for 15-25 minutes or until tortillas are crisp and slightly browned.
  • Serve immediately with more salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.
