Chicken Chowder Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 cups diced Potatoes small yellow ones
  • 1 cup diced Carrots
  • 1 cup diced Celery
  • ½ cup diced Onion
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • cup Flour
  • 2 cups Milk
  • 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 cups cooked Shredded Chicken
  • Chopped Green Onion for topping
  • Shredded Cheese for topping

Instructions

  • Start by adding your broth, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, minced garlic, salt and pepper to a large pot.
  • Bring to a boil and continue to simmer until all vegetables are tender.
  • Prepare your sauce by melting your butter in a skillet. Stir in flour and add milk. Continue whisking until thick and smooth. Gradually add in your shredded cheese, stirring until smooth and well combined.
  • Add your cheese sauce and shredded chicken to your pot of vegetables.
  • Whisk everything together until well combined.
  • Serve and enjoy. The perfect chowder on a chilly day.
