This Easy Pasta Sauce is full of flavor and will have dinner on the table in no time. Family time just got better with a big bowl of pasta made simple!!
Sauté the Onion: Heat olive oil in a large skillet or saucepan over medium heat. Add the diced onion and cook until it becomes translucent and soft, about 5 minutes.
Brown the Meat: Add the ground beef to the skillet with the onion. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess fat if needed.
Add Spices: Sprinkle in the onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and dried thyme. Stir to coat the meat evenly with the spices.
Incorporate Tomato Ingredients: Stir in the tomato paste, ensuring it blends well with the meat. Add the chopped tomatoes and crumble the chicken stock cube into the mixture. Stir to combine.
Simmer the Sauce: Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the flavors meld together. Cook to desired consistency.
Season: Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning with salt as needed.
Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh chopped basil before serving.
