Salt-Free Fajita Seasoning

Ingredients

  • ½ Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp ancho chili powder
  • ½ tsp fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  • To make your own fajita seasoning mix, in a small bowl, stir the cornstarch, chili powder, paprika, white sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, ancho chili powder and black pepper together.
  • Use 1 – 1 ½ Tbsp to season 1 pound of chicken or beef cut into strips before cooking.
  • Add 1 tsp to the peppers and onions while they are cooking.

Notes

This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled, so you have some on hand.
Note: Use immediately or store in an air-tight container for future use.
