- ½ Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp white sugar
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp ancho chili powder
- ½ tsp fresh ground pepper
To make your own fajita seasoning mix, in a small bowl, stir the cornstarch, chili powder, paprika, white sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, ancho chili powder and black pepper together.
Use 1 – 1 ½ Tbsp to season 1 pound of chicken or beef cut into strips before cooking.
Add 1 tsp to the peppers and onions while they are cooking.
This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled, so you have some on hand.
Note: Use immediately or store in an air-tight container for future use.
