Ham Bone Soup (Slow Cooker)

This easy and delicious Slow Cooker Ham Bone Soup is a great way to use the leftover ham bone for some amazing flavor. Our family loves homemade soups and this is one of our favorites.

Ingredients
1
ham bone with meat left on or chopped ham meat along with the bone
1
lb.
little potatoes
red, quartered
3
carrots
sliced
2
celery stalks
sliced
1
cup
frozen corn
defrosted
1
large onion
diced (I used a sweet onion)

oz.
can white kidney beans
cannellini beans
8
cups
chicken stock or vegetable broth

Tbsp
garlic
minced
2
bay leaves
1
tsp.
dried thyme leaves
1/4
cup
parsley
chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a slow cooker and combine.
Set on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
Remove the ham bone and bay leaves. Chop up any meat if needed.
Garnish with more parsley if desired. Serve with a
