Recipe Notes and Variations:You can use your favorite variety of apples for this recipe. I recommend a sweeter variety for this smoothie like Gala or Honeycrisp.We use Greek yogurt in this recipe because it’s thicker and higher in protein, making this smoothie extra creamy and filling. You can use vanilla Greek yogurt or plain or even your favorite non-dairy yogurt; however, the smoothie won’t be as creamy.To sweeten it up, you can use honey, maple syrup, agave syrup, etc. If using vanilla yogurt, you might not even need to sweeten it at all. Just taste and adjust the sweetness accordingly.
