Bread Machine Banana Bread Recipe

- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 medium-sized bananas very ripe or frozen and thawed, mashed
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 cup pecans chopped
Pour the ingredients into the bread pan in the sequence listed. Put the machine on the quick bread setting and medium crust setting and start the machine.
If the top of the bread still doesn't look done, leave the bread in the bread machine while it is still warm for 10 minutes or until baked.
Let the pan cool for 10 minutes, and remove the loaf with oven mitts, as it will still be hot. Don't forget to remove the mixing paddle also from the bottom of the loaf.
Let the bread cool completely on a wire cooling rack. Slice and serve.
Makes a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.
