Slow Cooker Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. dried granulated orange peel optional
  • 5 cups apples peeled and sliced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Topping

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  • Mix the topping ingredients together, cutting the butter in. Set aside.
  • Whisk together the white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, ginger, and granulated orange peel.
  • Toss with the apples. Put the apples into the slow cooker. Pour in the juice of 1/2 lemon.
  • Place topping ingredients on apples.
  • Cover and cook for 4 hours on low.
