These Energy Balls are easy to make, no baking required, refrigerate or even better, freeze and are the perfect on the road snack. Plus, they won’t fill your car with a million crumbs like chips or pretzels will.

These sweet treats will give you the energy you need to with stand a long travel day. They are healthy and full of protein, and fiber but better yet they are delicious.
I have to admit, more than one of these little Energy Balls were popped into my mouth while making them. Try some today and put your favorite ingredients in them or what you have on hand. The whole family will thank you for them. I am now ready for our road trip as these are stowed away in the freezer, waiting for us.
Energy Balls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup oats
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup cashews chopped
- 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- MIx all ingredients together and chill. These can also be frozen.

That wooden goblet was my dad’s and he loved mixed nuts and would always have some in that for a snack at night! I think he would have loved these Energy Balls too!
