Recipe ingredients.

Simple ingredients that give an extremely flavorful meal.

Recipe Ingredients

Pork chops, medium size – You can get pork chops with or without the bones, but make sure that they will all fit in your pan.

Sea salt and ground pepper – To season.

Extra virgin olive oil – Use a good quality oil here.

Butter, unsalted – You can use salted, but back off on the salt you add then.

Large white onion – Peeled and sliced, you can use a sweet white onion here too.

Chicken stock, divided – Use your favorite brand or homemade chicken stock.

Fresh thyme – This is best for this recipe. I love to grow my own all year round, indoors for the cold months.

Garlic cloves, minced – This gives the dish so much flavor.

White wine – Use what you have on hand and what you prefer to drink; nothing too sweet, though.

Gouda cheese – This gives the dish so much flavor and eye appeal. You want to dig in!!
