I have so many memories of my grandmother being in the kitchen as she lived with us. Grandma loved though making only a few dishes. She was Irish and, of course, adored her potatoes!! So I will be sharing with you today some of her recipes along with others in this roundup of 26 Favorite Grandma Recipes.
We have divided them down into 4 sections for you, Breakfast, Mains, Sides and Dessert. Great comforting recipes from around the world. Fond memories of family traditions, get togethers and treats from the kitchen. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I did putting it together for you!

Breakfast
Staying overnight at grandma’s house always meant delicious breakfasts the next morning. There is just something nostalgic about the smell of fresh baked banana bread wafting down the hallway or being woken from a deep sleep to the aromas of potato scones frying on the stove top.
Walking down the hallway to see grandma in the kitchen cooking a big breakfast is an amazing memory that can be cherished forever. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and grandmas always make sure to drive that point home.

DESSERTS
Is there anything better than going to grandma’s house for dessert? Visiting grandma usually means walking into a home that smells like fresh baked cakes, crisps and crumbles, brownies or cookies that immediately make your stomach rumble.
Many have memories of standing on the step stool beside grandma, helping her bake. These memories last a lifetime and are always triggered when the aroma of baked goods enter your nose. Sweet treats, sweet eats and even sweeter memories always go along with a visit to Grandma’s house.

This is such a great list! I loved cooking with my gram when I was growing up. I love making turkey tetrazini, chicken divan, and something she called “the almost wonderful stuff”…a combination of pudding, cake, and cool whip.
