What is in Oreo Pumpkin Pie Fudge?

Ingredients for Easy Oreo Pumpkin Pie Fudge.

Getting a rich, creamy, delicious fudge is way easier than it used to be. The ingredients are simple and easily found. Just make sure you get pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling that will already have the spices in it.

I tested a bunch of recipes using marshmallow creme, but I just couldn’t get over the overt sweetness using that product. Using sweetened condensed milk, I am way more familiar with, so I went with a recipe using that instead.

I think this recipe is much better for taste and sweetness.

Pumpkin pie spice should be very easy to find in your local grocery, too, but if you need to, make your own. It is a mixture of these common ground spices.

Ingredients for the Easy Oreo Pumpkin Pie Fudge

4 cups white chocolate chips (make sure they are of good quality)

1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk (don’t use evaporated milk)

1/3 cup canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (store-bought or you can make your own)

1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (use a good quality here too and not artificial)

12 golden Oreos (these are the best don’t substitute for a no-name product)

This is a very easy fudge recipe. There is no need for a candy thermometer, testing for soft ball stage, or standing at the stove cooking and stirring constantly. You don’t have to worry about all those tricky elements either in getting a correct consistency with your fudge; it will turn out great every time. Let’s jump to the recipe now and see how really easy this is.

Line an 8×8 pan dish or pie pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and spray with nonstick spray.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, add sweetened condensed milk and stir in white chocolate.

Microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring after each time and repeating until smooth and melted.

Stir in the pumpkin, pumpkin spice, and vanilla until smooth.

Crush up half the Oreos and stir them into the fudge.

Pour the fudge mixture into the pan.

Crush remaining Oreos and sprinkle over the top.

Refrigerate for at least 3 hours until the fudge is completely cooled or until fudge is set.

Cut into squares and serve!

How to Store Pumpkin Pie Fudge

Fudge sure doesn’t last long in our house. If it is stored properly, it can last up to 2 to 3 weeks, but it would never last that long here.

Fudge is best stored at room temperature in an airtight container but can also be refrigerated. We usually tuck all of our candy treats in the refrigerator; I like them cold also. Refrigerating will preserve freshness the longest, as it will prevent it from drying out.

To keep fudge at its best is to keep it cool. So if not refrigerated, then keep in a cooler part of the house. You can also freezer fudge again in an airtight container for 3 months. Defrost in your refrigerator for a few hours and then serve.
