We have for you a Budget-Friendly #SundaySupper today. I knew exactly what I was going to make, Easy Slow Cooker BBQ Beef. I have made this delicious and inexpensive meal a million times!! Ken and I got this idea from a friend, Evan. It is three ingredients but the flavor goes a long way!! Served up over mashed potatoes with a side of peas you can feed a family for very little, under $3 a person. This makes a great weeknight that can also go right into Sunday dinner!! Any day of the week will feel special with this meal. It is hearty and something that the whole family will love!!
The BBQ sauce and beef slowly cook giving you the most luscious of gravies and lots of it!! An inexpensive cut of beef is transformed to a new tender level. The onion is caramelized in the sauce and they are sweet and delicious. Served over fluffy potatoes, they accompany the meat perfectly. A side of veggies completes the easy peasy meal.

Wow! I think you get the prize, Tara. 3 ingredients and you’ve got a nutritious, filling dinner. Would you kindly advise if you think Teriyaki sauce could be substituted for the BBQ sauce? Would it be the same cooking time?
Noshing with the Nolands says
Thank you so much Kim. Hmm, I think Teriyaki sauce would work well, give it a whirl and tell me how it turned out. The cooking time is to make sure the cheap cut of beef is very tender so I wouldn’t alter that.
