How to make Cajun Roasted Potatoes

Ingredients for Cajun Roasted Potatoes

Three ingredients are all you need!! What?? Yup, that is it! Do you have a favorite Cajun spice already? We actually have many that we enjoy.

A Cajun seasoning shouldn’t be crazy hot but zesty, spicy, and savory. It should have the right amount of cayenne pepper, garlic salt, paprika, pepper, and onion powder. It may or may not have herbs like oregano and thyme.

Ingredients

Cajun Seasoning

Olive Oil

Salt to finish

Ranch Dipping Sauce (optional)

Also, clean up can’t be any easier as you just have one pan to clean. Don’t bother first tossing in a large bowl that you have to then clean when you can easily toss them right on the baking sheet.

To make clean up even easier, simply cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and you have no cleanup at all. Let’s dive into making these delicious potatoes now!

Preheat oven to 425F. Cut Blushing Bell Little Potatoes in half and place on a rimmed baking sheet.

Sprinkle with olive oil and toss. Sprinkle with Cajun spices and toss the potatoes to coat evenly.

Roast in a single layer in the oven for 20 minutes, turn, and roast for another 10 minutes until browned and crispy. Total baking time is 30 minutes or until crispy golden brown.

Remove from oven, salt slightly. Serve with Ranch dressing for dipping if desired.

How do you Make Roast Potatoes Crispy?

Roasted potatoes on a wooden spoon

To make your Little Potatoes crispy you just need to follow a few simple steps.

Make sure you potatoes are dry, Little Potatoes come pre-washed to no need to wash or dry them.

Also, don’t crowd the potatoes and always roast them in a single layer.

Make sure your oven is hot, we recommend 425F.

Use about 2 Tbsp. olive oil or a neutral oil like vegetable oil. Don’t use too much as you don’t want them to be greasy.

Cook for 20 minutes and once browning, turn and cook for an additional 10 minutes until all the Creamer Potatoes are golden and crispy.

Serve immediately and enjoy your lovely crisped potatoes every time.

Is it Necessary to Boil Potatoes Before Roasting?

Absolutely no need to boil your potatoes first. Just roast and enjoy!!

I love how these potatoes don’t require any peeling, which makes them such a convenient weeknight side. Tossing them directly on the baking sheet is a total game-changer for cleanup, too. I’m definitely going to try them with that ranch dipping sauce!
