What to Drink at a Halloween Party?

Halloween parties are so fun. We used to host them all the time when our daughter was younger. For the adults, we offered one specialty cocktail, and for the kids, juice boxes or something simple worked well and weren’t messy. The official drink of Halloween is chocolate milk, so you could serve that to kids, too!!

Haunting Halloween Cocktail Ingredients

Ingredients for a Spooky Halloween Cocktail.

This cocktail recipe leans towards a pina colada with its tropical flavors but adds a fun twist with the effervescent from the soda. It is perfect for any Halloween party.

Ingredients

Malibu rum – This adds more coconut flavor to the cocktail.

Pineapple vodka – Vanilla or peach vodka can replace the pineapple vodka.

Coconut cream – You can find coconut cream in most grocery stores in the Asian aisle.

Sprite (or any lemon-lime soda) – You can substitute the Sprite for ginger ale, 7-up, or Starry.

Ghost marshmallows for garnish (optional) – If you cannot find ghost marshmallows, you can also garnish with whipped coconut cream or whipped cream. There is a link for Peep Ghosts above.

Recipe Pro Tips!

Tips

  • For an icy cold drink, have the glasses chilled and ready to go!
  • Make up a batch ahead of time except for the Sprite, and have it ready and chilled in the fridge in a pitcher.
  • You can also serve this in clean plastic test tubes and have them ready in the fridge for when guests arrive.
  • Serve it as a punch in a punch bowl with dry ice for an extra spooky presentation.
  • Add some edible glitter to the top of the cocktail for some spookiness.
