I have my first big round up for you today. A Christmas Cookie Round Up with 60+ Recipes. I LOVE Christmas baking, it is so part of the holidays for me. Also part of the fun is making my baking list. I always like to pick a variety of cookies. Chocolate cookies, Sugar Cookies, Shortbreads, Fruit Cookies (my favorite), Spice Cookies, Nutty Cookies and Fun Cookies. I have to confess I have never made a Snickerdoodle before. I have to change that right away.
So to help me and YOU, today I have a huge Christmas Cookie Round Up. I have been drooling looking at each and everyone of these cookies. All are amazing but I don’t think I could do 67 recipes.
Last year I did a bunch of fun cookies. I loved making these Reindeer Cookies . I used my gingerbread man cookie cutter and turned them upside down and created reindeer. They were whimsical and fun for the holidays.
I also made these delicious Swirl Cookies or as you may know them as Pinwheels. I love the nutty, date centers!! I adore big flavorful Medjool dates at this time of year. Can’t wait to get some of those in baking again, never mind stuffing them with cheese or wrapping bacon around them.
For the last few years I have made biscotti with my girlfriend Colleen, last year it was Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti. Nothing like a piping hot coffee and a delicious biscotti for a morning break, YUM!!
